Eleanore Smith is a British artist living in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. She has recently completed a BA Hons in Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University. Though she mainly describes herself as a painter, she also experiments with sculpture, textiles and installation. She is a lover of colour and exploring new mediums. Her most recent work was shown in ‘Why Not Now’ at We The North, Liverpool.

Smith is part of Wet Nose Collective, a collective of young artists based in Sheffield, working along side CADS.

Through developing a language between material and process, Smith’s practice has ranged from painting, to sculpture and on to installations. In more recent works, Smith has been exploring the qualities of curating her work. By exploring new ways of presenting work has allowed for painterly works to be used in a more installation based setting.
